12 from 12 for Mornington Peninsula Photographer Brian Randall
Brian Randall is well known around the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. He is always on location shooting weddings, portraits and commercial work.
But when he’s not attending to all those tiny details to ensure his clients are not only happy but love his images, Brian is traveling around not only the greater Melbourne area, but indeed the world, photographing his fine art images.
It’s indeed these fine art images which bought about Brian’s recent cause for celebration. Twelve images entered in the Victorian state awards with the Australia Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and 10 receiving silver awards and 2 silver distinctions. A very tidy twelve from twelve for Brian.
Brian is a Master Photographer with the AIPP and has been a member for the last 10 years, continually moving from strength to strength. 2011 saw Brian gain titles of Finalist in the Landscape category and Winner of the Illustrative category and also a Finalist for Illustrative in 2013.
Being a Master Photographer in the AIPP, Brian was given the opportunity to judge some of the other categories along side other Masters and those highly respected in the industry.
‘Judging the awards is such a rewarding experience. The level of work entered is outstanding and I am humbled to be included in this calibre of professionals who are asked to judge. It is such an incredible experience to critique such amazing work. Although it is just as nerve wrecking while waiting for my own results whether I am judging or watching!’
The state awards offer a fantastic way to test the waters and select the best of the best for the upcoming National Awards held in Sydney, 12-14th September.
